Bees come from eggs, so far so good. But are there any differences between the queen bee, the workers, and the drones? Learn more here.

The development period of a male drone from egg to bee is the longest, namely a full 24 days. Worker bees incubate on an average of 21 days until they hatch. Interestingly enough, the queen bee,  the center and provider of life of the hive, has the shortest incubation period of 15 to 17 days until it hatches.
