Pork Chops in a Honey Chili Sauce

  • 4 pork chops
  • Salt
  • Pepper from the mill
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 120 ml veal stock, dark
  • 2 Tbsp Hoisin sauce
  • 2 – 3 Tbsp chili sauce, sweet and spicy
  • ca. 2 Tbsp Honigmayr honey ex: Homeland Selection Blossom honey from Austria
  • Lemon juice


Rinse the pork chops and pat dry. Season with salt and pepper and sear both sides until brown in an oiled pan. Add the veal stock and hoisin sauce. Stir in Honigmayr Homeland Selection blossom honey from Austria and cook until it thickens. Turn the pork chops regularly, letting them simmer in the sauce for an additional 6-8 minutes or until finished. Season to taste with lemon juice, honey, and child sauce.
